I'm going to post a little about actuarial exams based on my experience. Please join the conversation and let us know about your experiences.
Most students in Touro take FM first. The reason for this is because FM doesn't really require any calculus, so you could (and should!) start studying for it right away w/o needing to know much pre-req knowledge. For P there is a signifcant need for calculus (integration by parts, double integrals etc.). Once you have one exam under your belt you can try to get an internship.
The single most important thing when it comes to studying for these exams is to set goals and keep to them. The best way to do that is to sign up for the exam. Once your signed up there's no backing out.
